The journal continues the tradition of the  Annali di Ca’ Foscari, founded in 1962, collecting the occidentalistica inheritance. It is an expression of the Department of Language and Cultural Studies comparative University Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and wants to represent the different disciplinary souls: the literary and philological studies, linguistic and language teaching studies, historical studies.

A journal that considers the figure of Gabriele d'Annunzio as an eponymous sample of an interdisciplinary and multicultural vision.
